Rob got into this sport because he has always enjoyed endurance sports, and needed a competitive outlet after college. Rob is a Three-time Ironman Lake Placid finisher who recently qualified for Boston with a PR of 2:57:50 at the 2015 Philly marathon. In addition to numerous Age group podium finishes, and qualifying for USAT Age group nationals several times, Rob’s Race highlights include
- A Half Iron PR of 4:41:32 and 6th overall at Lake George 2015
- IM Lake Placid PR of 11:18:44 in 2014
- 10K PR of 38:47 and 2nd overall (to teammate Joe!) at the Great Pumpkin Challenge 2015
- PR of 1:26:52 at the Saratoga Palio Half marathon 2015
Why he’s LOCO: I think riding up steep mountains for miles and miles in 90 degree weather is fun!
